Problem: With the fast pace of society today individuals find themselves spending less and less time with their families. Many people want to share more quality time with their loved ones, but can only make the most of the time they already have together. Thus, this makes it difficult for diverse American families to preserve their heritage among the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Solution: Through secondary research and direct user research, our UX team found that the majority of family time is spent around sharing meals together. Therefore we designed HomeCooked, a family cooking interface that promotes quality time and preserve food heritage among family members through collaborative cooking. HomeCooked is an application that stores family recipes and related memories.
